Lil Peep, real name Gustav Elijah Åhr, was an American rapper, songwriter, singer, and record producer. He was famous for post-emo revival music, which is the blend of Pop and Rock music. 

Lil Peep was born on 1st November 1996 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, but grew up in Long Island, New York. Peep had Swedish citizenship courtesy of his parents and had Irish-Swedish heritage.

Gus soared to popularity on SoundCloud and YouTube after he dropped two mixtapes in 2015; Lil Peep Part One and Live Forever. Fans appreciated his unique style of Lo-Fi rap revival, and so Peep got his due recognition. 

Lil Peep, in his early years of rapping, made music in his bedroom while his mother arranged his equipment; a laptop that contained all his recordings and backup files.
